For unpublished work, Sea to Sky Journal receives first publication rights and the right to display the work in the journal, archives, and related promotion. For previously published work, please tell us where it first appeared and confirm that you have the right to republish it. Creators retain copyright.
Submissions are open to those 18 years and older.
There is no fee to submit.
Each submission must include a title.
Submissions are reviewed anonymously — please do not include your name within your work.
If your work includes images, you confirm you have permission to use all visual elements.
If AI tools are used in any part of your process, please disclose this when submitting.
We’re looking for writing, art, and photography. Poetry and short prose should be no more than 700 words.
We may edit for clarity, content, formatting, or length, in consultation with the creator. We reserve the right to decline work that is unsuitable for publication.
Contributors selected for publication receive a complimentary copy of Sea to Sky Journal and an invitation to share their work at the fall launch event.
